MSNBC host Melissa Harris-Perry recently asked a panel of anti-vaxxers to put their minds at ease by sharing their fears about the new vaccine.

She then posed a question to them: What does it mean if you are afraid for your children’s health?

The response, from anti-anti-vaccination activist Dr. David Gorski, is pretty chilling.

He said that “any vaccine can be deadly.”

Harris-Prey pressed, “So if your child is being vaccinated against measles and whooping cough, how do you know you’re safe?”

Gorski replied, “It’s just not there yet.”

In a statement, Harris-Portree said, “We must remember that vaccines are not perfect.

There is no single vaccine that is safe and effective for all people, even those with the most serious health conditions.

The public health benefits of vaccines outweigh any risks, and we should not take them for granted.”

She added, “This isn’t a time for complacency.

The vaccine must be administered safely, carefully and carefully monitored.

We need to be vigilant about the many diseases that are currently spreading across our nation, and make sure we don’t miss any opportunities to educate the public about what vaccines are doing to our health.”

She ended the segment by saying, “If the only thing that makes you feel safer is the possibility that your child will not get the vaccine, then we need to get real about that.”
